Inappropriate workplace behaviours

Inappropriate behaviours are sometimes displayed in the workplace, and this can result in the dismissal of employees. These behaviours include lack of punctuality, the wrong attitude, discrimination, sexual harassment, bullying, inappropriate use of confidential information and theft.

Maintaining appropriate behaviour and conduct in the workplace is an increasingly significant issue and one that provides employers with a challenge. Employers must take action and provide a safe and supportive environment by addressing the matters in line with organisational policies and workplace legislation.

An employer raises his index finger and appears to be very angry. He is letting his employee know that his behaviour has been inappropriate in the workplace.7
