Scenario 1

You agree to meet four of your friends for lunch at 1 pm but only have a half hour break. Everyone else has one hour and is encouraging you to stay. Your lunch order has taken 40 minutes to arrive. You persistently do this without making up for the time and occasionally arrive back to work under the influence of alcohol.

Scenario 2

Barry has been using his mobile phone, sending personal emails and looking at inappropriate material at work. He spends up to one hour of his working day doing this.

Scenario 3

Angelo is the latest recruit in the office. Danielle, who only started 3 months before Angelo, asks him to go to the canteen and get tea and coffee for the other 6 people in the section, all of whom are women. Angelo thinks this is women’s work.

Scenario 4

Elena is a new employee in a big company which has a shop and a warehouse. She has been employed to work in the shop. The manager asks Elena to clean out a section of the warehouse, which will take all day. Elena is not happy because she feels that she was employed only to work in the shop; however, this is not outlined in her terms of employment.

Scenario 5

You are an office manager who is responsible for the supervision of twenty office staff. You notice that Kathy's standard of work, as well as her attitude towards other staff members, including her supervisor, have deteriorated lately. She has also refused to participate in team tasks because she does not like some of the staff.

Scenario 6

Louise works for a large government organisation and has access to a large client database. She is asked by one of her friends to find the personal details of one of the clients. She forwards that information to her friend.

Scenario 7

Mourad works in the Administration Department of a large department store. He has been asked to collect a large box of supplies from the loading dock. When he picks it up, he places one of the parcels in his pocket and takes it home that night.
