Visual representations

Visual representations include picture books, diagrams, images, photographs, paintings, illustrations, symbols, models, posters, collages, cartoons, multimedia, infographics and mind maps. They are used in all steps of the geographical inquiry process.

Activity 6: Visual representations (optional)
Reflect on the range of visual representations. For each step of the geographical inquiry process (acquiring, processing and communicating) identify a visual representation you could use and explain how your students would use it. Record your response in your Activity booklet.
