Making a presentation
To learn about making a good slideshow, download IASTED's Making PowerPoint Slides – Avoiding the Pitfalls of Bad Slides.
Once you are clear about how to design a good presentation, choose a model of the atom. Look at the Marking guidelines (.DOCX 23KB) to see what is expected of you in this task. Your presentation should contain:
-
an image of each model
-
a description of which model is the most useful for explaining the structure of matter
-
hand-outs of the models.
Once you have made your presentation show it to other members of the class. You will be assessed on the clarity of your presentation.
