Watch the video and find out about biological control.(Running time 103 seconds)

There have been many pests and diseases for bitou bush tested in Australia (40 species). Eight of these have been released into the environment. These biocontrols only feed on bitou. Unfortunately some have not been successful and have fallen prey to the natural predators found in the dunes. These include spiders, wasps and birds. So far only four have been successful, bitou tip moth, bitou seed fly, tortoise beetle and Tortrix, the leaf-roller moth. This is the one that you will be releasing.
