Distribution

Bitou is now found on 80% of the NSW coast. The map shows the present distribution in yellow and the potential distribution, if not controlled, in green.

You can see from the map that we need to do something about bitou before it is too late for the coastal dunes of NSW. We need to understand the life cycle of the plant so that we can attack it where it is vulnerable.
