Task 1

In this activity you have to decide how you are going to plan the experiment.

Hint: If you look at the equipment you have to choose from you will see two identical cans. One is dull the other is shiny. In your plan both cans should receive the same amount of radiant heat from the Sun. However, the shiny can reflects a large proportion of the radiation away. The dull can absorbs more radiation and will heat up at a faster rate.
