More on heating up

Heat is a form of energy. It can transfer from one body to another because of a difference in temperature. Heat travels from a body with a higher temperature to a body with a lower temperature.

Heat travels by conduction, convection and radiation. Radiation is the only form of heat transfer that does not need a medium and can therefore travel through the vacuum of space. The Sun’s radiation will be used in this experiment.
