Does frost destroy bitou seeds?

Bitou plants are not found in areas of frequent frosts. The seeds may be killed by low temperatures. Your task is to design an experiment and choose the equipment you will need to investigate if bitou seeds are able to germinate after freezing. Placing the seeds in a freezer overnight is a good starting point.

The thing that you are changing in this experiment (independent variable) is freezing seeds. You will also have the same number of seeds that have not been frozen. This is your control group. The thing that you will measure (dependent variable) is the germination of the seeds. All other variables must be equal. This includes the pot and soil that you use, heat and light and the amount of water (controlled variables).
