Preparing a Chromebook

BEFORE you can enrol a Chromebook into the department's Google domain, you may need to prepare it. Complete the steps under the correct description below to prepare your Chromebook.

DO NOT enrol personal Chromebooks owned by students or staff (BYODs)

NOTE: Did your school buy non-contract Chromebooks that you would like to enrol into the DoE Google domain? Or have you built old computers using Neverware CloudReady that you would like to enrol? If yes, you must read this advice first.

If your Chromebook was previously used as an unmanaged device, complete the "Powerwash" steps to prepare the Chromebook before it can be enrolled.
