Alison Lester talks
About the author
Alison Lester grew up on a farm near a beach and now lives on a farm in West Gippsland where she writes and illustrates children’s books. Since her early childhood Lester has ridden horses. Books such as Magic Beach, My Farm and The Quicksand Pony draw on Lester’s personal experience and knowledge of the area where she grew up and also on her imagination. Lester encourages others to write and draw about their own lives and the environment in which they live.
