Making a PDF

Making a PDF

PDF stands for portable document format and is a way of ensuring that your document looks the same no matter who prints it out. Use a word processor, such as Microsoft Word, to write a paragraph describing each of the following:

  • atom

  • protons

  • electrons

  • neutrons

  • atomic nucleus

  • electron clouds

  • periodic table

Then use Adobe Acrobat DC to create and share a PDF with other members of the class.

For instructions on creating a PDF, visit Adobe's Convert Word, Excel or PowerPoint to PDF website.

Share your document with other members of the class. Use the commenting tools in Acrobat DC to make comments on one other student’s description.
