1. Look at this interactive spreadsheet (XLSX 58KB) for a different way to interpret the binomial expansions. Remember to save the file to your computer first before using it.

2. Consider these questions:

   1. What would the geometric diagram look like for the “difference of two squares” (a+b)(a-b)?

   2. What working out would explain your diagram?

3. Using Word, OneNote or another document creation tool, draw your diagram by inserting shapes. Write equations that demonstrate your knowledge and explain the working out.

4. Share your document with a classmate and make changes in response to their comments before sharing the document with your class teacher.
