Validity, reliability and accuracy
When you carry out an investigation you want to be able to trust your results. To do this there are three terms you should know.
A valid experiment tests the hypothesis, has all variables controlled except the one that has been changed, and has errors reduced by having more than one copy of the experiment.
A reliable experiment produces the same result when you repeat it.
An accurate experiment has measurements taken very carefully and no mistakes are made when carrying out the test.
