melanoma - The most dangerous form of skin cancer but the rarest. It can spread rapidly to other parts of the body.
squamous cell carcinoma - More dangerous than BCC but less common. These grow in weeks to months and may spread by metastasis to other parts of the body.
basal cell carcinoma - The most common form of skin cancer but the least dangerous. They are slow growing and rarely spread to other parts of the body.
tumour - A mass of cells growing out of control.
malignant - Cancer cells that move into other tissues.
benign - Cancer cells that remain in the tissue that they formed in.
