Compose a review

Compose a review of a book that you have read or a film that you have seen.

  • Create a mindmap using the SmartArt tools in Microsoft Word. Include the headings: title, composer (writer or director), plot, characters, setting, themes and messages, my response, my recommendation. Under each heading, write some notes to help you compose your review.

  • Write your review. Use the student checklist (.doc 43kB) as a guide.

  • Post your work on a blog to share it with others. Your teacher will provide you with the link to the blog.
