Like to poke around in an ancient Greek house?

The British Museum has a Greek History website, each part of which—Acropolis, Athens, Daily Life, Festivals and Games, Geography, and Gods and Goddesses—has an interactive story, an exploratory section using the museum’s artefacts, and a challenge, like the House Challenge, from Daily Life.

The British Museum is a world museum. The Ancient Civilisations site explores the collection through themes, and there are dedicated sites for Ancient China, Ancient Egypt, Ancient India, Early Imperial China, Mesopotamia and Mughal India.
