Write a feature article

Write a feature article

Use Word, Google Docs or another writing application to write the text for your feature article.

This should be based on:

  • a current news story

    or

  • a profile of an important person or event

    or

  • an issue that you feel strongly about.

Planning

Before you begin you will need to decide:

  1. What is the purpose of your article?

  2. Who is the audience?

  3. What is the topic or subject of your article?

  4. How you will find the information?

Mind mapping

Use FreeMind or another mind mapping program on your laptop to help plan, organise and share your ideas and work.
