Tennis balls are often packaged in cylindrical cans of three. What volume of space is NOT occupied by the tennis balls?

  1. Show your solution on the first slide of your presentation. Record measurements, list your assumptions, and explain your solution.

  2. On the second slide pose your own volume or surface area problem, for example, How much foil is needed to wrap up a chocolate golf ball? Consider adding images and audio to enhance your presentation.

  3. Share your slides with your class. Ask others to contribute their ideas on the problem you posed.

  4. Add a comment to at least two other problems your classmates have shared.
