This resource is designed for use with the English K–10 syllabus.

In this resource, students have the opportunity to:

  • respond to a range of discussions in print and online

  • synthesise ideas to clarify meanings

  • use a scaffold and a variety of models to compose texts

  • examine relationships between structure, language and text

  • use ICT to produce a discussion text

  • collect, select, interpret and draw conclusions about current issues.
