MusicParent: She's really driven by having a lot of say in what she does,
she's very enthusiastic, very academic minded so having that ownershipover her presentation and the design and the ideaand that really got her motivated, she really likes the hands on in learning experiences. So, that was great.I don't think if they were told 'This is exactly what you have to do'.There wouldn't be that level of enthusiasm, they'd still enjoy it but it takes it to a different level I thinkwhen they get to choose and drive it themselves. To motivate the students to engage them and to motivate themin their learning experiences I think they continually need to findthe avenue of their interests. And once they can tap into that and then allow it to be student drivenlike this program has been I think that isyou know where a lot of great stuff could happen. So I think that we're able to, sorry Mr Fisk and the other stage teacherswere able to find something that they were all excited about,I think that was half the battle and then you know they were all keen, they were all keen. So, I think if the school could do that with other areasthere'd be some great things that could happen.Notes:
Gina talks about the benefits of participating in MyScience from her observations of her daughter's participation, yet acknowledges the commitment of the school.
