Starting your research

The following links are suggestions to help you start your research. There are plenty of websites and resources you could use instead.

• Find at least five facts about the laws governing refugees by exploring the website Roads to refuge.

• Take a journey through the asylum seeker simulation on the SBS website (needs Flash). It will ask you to pretend that you need to flee Australia.

• Read the story of a real teenage refugee.
