Make a slideshow

Look at the class collection of printed photographs and discuss which emotion each might represent.

Using the collection of photos, plan and make a class artwork similar to Ross’s that can be projected.

  1. Place the printed photos in a row across your classroom floor.

  2. Arrange them in the order you think they should be projected. Try different arrangements until you and your classmates are happy with the order.

  3. Use Microsoft PowerPoint to make a slideshow of the images in the order you have planned.

  4. Set the following slide options on the Transitions tab:
    – Set the transition to ‘None’
    – Set Sound (as the slides change) to ‘No Sound’
    – Set Advance Slide to change after a short time eg five seconds
and then click ‘Apply To All’.

Screen of of the Transitions tab on the PowerPoint ribbon with the Sound and Advance slide options circled

  5. Play your slideshow and make any changes to the slide order or to the projection time that you think are necessary.

  6. Save your slideshow.
