Create a word cloud at the Wordle¹ website.

A word cloud is a visual representation of a list of words. The more often a word appears in the list, the larger that word appears in the word cloud.

How does your word cloud communicate about you and what is important to you?

Create a digital shape poem. Shape poems convey meaning not only through words but also through their appearance and arrangement on the page.

Use the words that you chose from the acrostic poems. Make the poem in the shape of the initials of your name. Experiment with:

• different fonts

• text size and colour

• upper and/or lower-case letters

• styles such as bold, italic, underline, outline

• rotating, skewing, flipping words.
