Devise a scenario in which trigonometry would be used, such as determining the height of a tree in the image above. Follow these steps:

1. Go to the Wikipedia¹ article on uses of trigonometry. In the modern uses section, select five different uses for trigonometry and record them in a Microsoft OneNote file. You can narrow down your search by concept to view appropriate images and text.

2. Chose one of the uses you have found and devise a scenario that involves using trigonometry to find a solution. Consider situations involving angles of elevation and depression or with bearings. Insert clip art or other images to illustrate your idea.

3. Share your ideas with the class in a presentation or perhaps using a padlet² set up by your teacher.
