China’s climates

Examine the climates, both temperature and precipitation, of these Chinese cities:

Read each climate summary and write in the city it describes (from the six studied).

1. My maximum temperatures range from 19 to 31 degrees. I have a high annual rainfall with a distinct summer wet season.

2. Most of my small annual precipitation comes from May to September. My summers are warm to hot and winters are cold.

3. My temperatures reach 40 degrees in summer but winter nights can be well below zero. Almost no rain.

4. My annual precipitation is just under 600 mm. Maximum temperatures range from 4 to 31 degrees.

5. My maximum temperatures in summer reach only 22 degrees. Most of my precipitation, including snowfall, falls between June and September.

6. My precipitation is fairly constant throughout the year, except for a small peak in summer. Maximum temperatures range from 9 to 31 degrees.
