Buried Treasure - plotting coordinates

Choose a grid level: 1, 2 or 3

Find the buried diamonds by clicking on the point given by the coordinates. Plot as many as you can in one minute. Beware: get it wrong and all you'll find is a lump of coal. Click GO to begin.

Help (Explanation)

Plot the coordinate shown in the box. This example shows (3,0). The first number is the x coordinate. Find 3 on the x axis. The second number is the y coordinate. Find 0 on the y axis. Click where these coordinates intersect on the grid.

When you click the correct coordinate, a diamond appears and is added to your treasure chest. You score 10 marks. The next coordinate will be shown. If you are wrong, a lump of coal appears and is added to your coal bucket. You lose 5 marks. Have another try. You must click the correct point to go on to the next coordinate.

You have one minute to plot as many as you can. When your time is up, check the scorecard for your final results.

Collect bilbies by typing in their coordinates before they disappear. Beware: get it wrong and your bilby escapes! You have one minute to catch as many bilbies as you can. Click GO to begin. Type your answer in the space provided. Hit spacebar to go on.

Help (Explanation)

Type the coordinate of the bilby shown on the screen. Decide which x coordinate the bilby intersects. Type the x coordinate in the first space. Decide which y coordinate the bilby intersects. Type the y coordinate in the second space. Hit the spacebar to check your answer.

If you enter the correct coordinate, the bilby is collected up and added to the bilby hutch. You score 10 marks. If you are wrong, an 'x' appears and is added to your scorecard. You lose 5 marks.

Choose a grid level

You can play each game at three different levels. The higher the level, the more complex the grid. All other elements of the game remain the same.
