Now that you understand how to use colons, create a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation that explains the rules of using colons to students in Year 7.

Include some examples for them to do. For example, a slide could have an example, then the answer could be animated to appear underneath.

Make sure that your presentation:

• is engaging for younger students

• explains clearly and accurately the rules for using colons

• gives enough examples to consolidate their learning.

You could also use the Adobe Presenter tab in PowerPoint to record audio or webcam video to include in your presentation. If you do this you will have to publish your PowerPoint as a Presenter slideshow (Adobe Presenter tab > Presentation group > Publish).
